Applejack's truest, best friend, Winona, the perfect pet for the Element of Honesty, because there is nothing more honest and pure then a Dog. They will love you regardless of who you are, and you can always be true to them.

True, sappy, sad story, and I apologize for sharing, but I was thinking of this while drawing this image. I've always loved Dogs, and have valued my relationship with my dogs more then I do with some people. I lost my dog Connor about two years ago, and it still hurts. He was the best dog, more personality and love in him then in any dog I'd ever seen. I've had three dogs in my life, but was too young to truely remember the first, and the second dog was a bit too stand-offish (she was rejected from behavior training for poor atttitude). But, Connor was an absolutely amazing friend.

When I read this weeks topic, I immediately had an idea for something stupid, a joke with Applejack walking Applebloom on a leash, one of those kid-leashes you occassionally see parents have strapped to their kids at the mall. But the more I thought about it, the more I thought about Connor, and so, I stayed on with Applejack, but instead made it a little more serious, and included her loveable pup. So, here's to you Connor. I still miss you everyday.

Also, I have a four hour drive to Indianapolis followed by staying all day at Gen-con, so I'm looking at maybe 4 hours of sleep here, I really need to stop this post and go to bed... confound these ponies, they make me relieve good memories.
