Their hearts pound to the same rhythm
And when he smiles at her
She feels a bit less like a mess
And when she gazes at him
He actually likes the way
His heart beats in his chest
Day after day
They keep their words locked away
Too used to rejection or just too afraid
Her secrets never surfaced
He never faced his fears
This could've been so perfect
Instead they're drowning in their tears
It's never fair...
But they're so beautifully
So miserably
Completely unaware

I feel like this a lot, but telling people how I feel in general never ends well. Plus I'm fairly sure I'm not emotionally stable enough to handle the bad parts of that. It's a very nice poem though :3
