I thought it was interesting how you chose those specific drawings to include in the boxart. Personally I think your other works of the characters are better suited for the boxart.

I do think some of the older concepts are better, but the characters changed a lot in the 3D modeling stage and ended up looking quite a bit different. Wanted something that more accurately reflected how they currently look.

hmm Ok that's cool. When it comes to RPGs I'm usually a fan of concept art that looks different in style from the character models themselves but that's just me. still looks great though!

visual style of the game (outfits, menus, effects, etc) looks like it was lifted straight out of the newer phantasy star games, but its all 2d.
