"DEISIS" - Acrylic on pre-shaped wood (prepared by me), with gold/silver/cooper leafs (about 120 /100 cm )"Dare!... Because I have conquered the World..." - I reffer first of all at the HUMAN example, fighting this "universal nowhere" to find an own sense, whatever would be, extending the religious metaphor far beyond only believers or religion borders.

I love this and the fact that the wood is cut adds depth and dimension to this piece. You paint like the masters but with your own style. I really appreciate your work. Reminds me of the religious art from centuries ago. Bet this is far greater in person.

Yes, represented holding his cut off head on a plate. It is the way Deisis painting is represented in byzantine tradition, with Mother of God and St John the Baptist on right and left side of Jesus Christ.
