(Music: Nox Arcana β Fairy Tale)"Hansel and Gretel" is a well-known fairy tale of German origin, recorded by the Brothers Grimm and published in 1812. Hansel and Gretel are a young brother and sister kidnapped by a cannibalistic witch living deep in the forest in a house constructed of cake and confectionery. You can read this tale here

Very, very good. Did you know that "Hansel and Gretel" got adapted into an opera by composer Engelbert Humperdinck (not to be confused with the English pop singer). There's is an aria sung by the witch that I did that you might like.

I have this theory that the stepmother may have also been the witch. I can't quite connect the two together entirely--but both the witch and the stepmother refer to the children as "lazybones" when waking them up in the morning. Also, the stepmother has apparently died while the children were away but there is no explanation as to how or why.
Anyhow--beautiful and creepy rendition. Don't trust that witch, kids.
