Description
The blue Kelpie pinned her ears back as her man-colt wrapped his arms around her neck, she could feel him scrabbling to get his leg hooked over her back without alerting the young green colt standing on her other side. Jelly snorted in irritation, it wasn't like the green Kelpie hadn't figured out Ace was there when he tried to jump over her (missing his target and falling straight into the water), when he tried to swim underneath her and reach up to put the halter on the green Kelpie (but of course he couldn't reach without 'giving himself away') and trying a whole lot of positions Jelly had no idea a man-colt was capable of performing in an effort to get the halter on and remain out of sight.
More than once the green one tried to introduce himself or get her to play, none of which she was willing to reciprocate at this point, she had one colt to deal with, she didn't need another. But it seemed that her human had chosen this one, so she stood patiently while he tried everything he felt like trying before Jelly finally decided he needed some help.
So while he clung onto her side, trying to reach around, she simply turned and began walking out of the water, despite the man-colt's protests.
And true to Jelly's expectations, the green Kelpie simply began to follow them, he found the blue mare interesting, and the young human a very curious creature indeed, they seemed more entertaining to him than staying here alone and separated from the herd.

After some protesting from the blue-haired young man, he finally seemed to realize that Jelly had the right idea, so he simply lay across her back, facing the green Kelpie and began to coax him closer to sniff his hand. Though he very quickly ended up on the grass when Jelly decided she didn't appreciate the young kelpie being so close. Though this gave Ace the perfect opportunity, while the green Kelpie lowered his head curiously, Ace was able to slip the halter cleanly over his head.
Things seemed to have a way of working themselves out.

Spring is the time of renewal and new beginnings. The Kelpieherds return from their journey through the stallions territories all over Europe, to a place where they can give birth to their foals or have a safe place for those already born. In this time it is possible for those at EH to manage the herd in order to keep it healthy and at a good size. Foals will be taken care of, should they be abandoned and yearlings will be sorted out, if they start to be nuisance for the herd. In addiotion, individuals will be picked out to tame and rehome.
Step-by-Step
I'm assuming you have read the Kelpie breedsheet and now want one of those horses. Here's how you get one:
- Check the date! Is it spring time? It's usually 21st March to 21st June. Does that fit? Yes? Good! Continue!
- Every requested Kelpie comes with 3 free gene slots as standard. They are always present. Each of these slots can be filled with the free genes, but you do
