Description
Nabbed the idea from Crime and Punishment in Suburbia (again).At first I thought it might be so prosaic of me to choose this title since countless other fan art have already been dubbed as such.
Then again, I think it only appropriate for any Snape artist to have at least one piece titled "Always", wouldn't you agree?
I've practically spent the entire time doing this wishing I could somehow take Lily's place even for just a few moments... yes... I need to get a life.

thank you! i'd like to think he was possibly crying but i feel that severus might have used his hair as an emotional curtain as well. i'm afraid he'd personally come and give me a good ass-kicking if i exposed him in such a vulnerable state.

He does look like he's about to cry, or maybe it just seems to me that there's a tear at the corner of his eye.

i jump around, scream and whack my head on the table out of frustration at regular intervals. lol!
but aside from that, i just stick with regular watercolour tips. i start out with the lightest tints first and gradually move on to darker shades (i have to plan exactly where i want to put my shading during the sketching phase...i usually make light markings with a pencil). darkest shades go in last.
i never use black for shading with skin tones... makes it look muddy.
i am a bit braver with mixing colours recently and avoid using 'default' colours (sev's hair was from brown and turquoise ).
you can make several interesting colours by combining complementary colours like red+green, blue+orange, violet+yellow, depending on the amount you add.
i also cheat a lot by dabbing at mistakes with a damp brush followed by tissue.
