Yay!My second Modern skin!!
This is done with permission from ~bant and ~gigatexel- .
The preview image is done by my sis, ~jasunknown .
Comes with 14 colourthemes and a colour prefs window, try using the Winamp 5 Color Editor to make your own..
Notifier enabled.
4 modes changeable.
Seperate playlist window for use with other modes.
Basically similar to my first skin.
To get to mini mode click the 'A' below the volume controls.
Note: Try deleting studio.xnf from "c:\documents and settings\

An amazing skin. One question though; I have it set at Mini mode, on top of the Media Library window, both in the same width, and that's it But every time I open Winamp, it resets to full mode and the Media Library isn't the same width anymore. Any help, I've only had Winamp for a few days.

I can't reproduce your problem on my PC.
Maybe you can try to delete studio.xnf from "c:\documents and settings\
Deleting that file resets skin settings.

this is just great. smooth movement, though, i dont like the font on the numbers.

i love the docking to top or bottom of the screen option!i haven't seen that in any other skins so far.

one thing bothers me: the color of text vs. background. most color-schemes are unusable because the text is hard to read. especially in playlist.

I HAVE FOUND IT! THE PERFECT WINAMP SKIN!!!! Thank you!! I only wish the area for text was much wider. Is this easily adjustable? Could I do it myself?

Just a heads-up ... with the new version of Winamp (5.24) a few bugs have been introduced:
- Volume adjustment via mousewheel doesn't work.
- "Time remaining" doesn't change the behaviour of the count (i.e. it will always show "Time elapsed").
- The scrollbar for the playlist is *green*, garbled ... and completely independent of your "Colour Preferences" choice.
Thought you should know iron2000. I love this skin, but I can't use it anymore because of the above.

Strange I went to download and test out the version uploaded to DA but there is no problems with the green scrollbar.
Mouse wheel volume, thats a bit difficult to figure out.
Time problem, its on purpose as when it changes to time remaining the minus sign will be too outside.
May fix it some time.

I just downloaded the DA version and you're right. Sorry about that. I must have been using the older version before you updated to comply with 5.23. Things are looking fine for me now.
The mousewheel thing isn't that big of an issue ... nor is the time problem. They both actually don't bother me but I just happened to notice them both.

...how did you get winamp to display japanese??

First you need to ensure that Windows XP supperts Japanese, like you can see Japanese filenames.
Then set the playlist font to Tahoma.
That worked for me.

I love this skin! Compact and functional - just what I like. Goes quite well with b0se's Opus 3.0 too. 
There are a few minor issues I've been having with it however:
-Changing from Time Elapsed to Time Remaining doesn't do anything.
-The mousewheel doesn't always respond (ie volume controls aren't always available via mousewheel)
-I've found the notifier sometimes gets stuck (can't reproduce it though... =\)

something wrong with your skin. i'm using winamp v5.08d with ashen player and it makes a damn high cpu load. playing a mp3 shows me high cpu load of between 60% and 90%! i'm using a intel pentium m735 1,70ghz and 1gb ram, at least only 382 mb ram are used. i tried to use a another skin and all is working fine. the modern default skin produces just a load of max. 25% and the default classic skin makes only max. 2% cpu load. i'm always using main window and playlist editor, no visualizations etc. any clou? have no stress with other applications and so on. only using this cool skin makes me sorrow and decreases drastically my workstation performance.

The mp3 you are listening to must be VBR.
See if the bitrate changes quickly on the display.
Solutions:
Minimize the window when playing VBR files.
OR
Go to Preferences->
In the MPEG audio decoder settings go to the Decoder tab under Misc Options check the checkbox for 'Show average bitrate on VBR files'.

this is a really great skin, but the smaller buttons are _very_ hard to see the differences. So you need to know which button does what (I don't mean that the buttons don't have a good smybol, but I just can't spot those - if I highlight them it's easier because the contrast is much higher)
Same goes for the small mode (click the A). I didn't even find it after reading your explaination, it just doesn't differ from the volume control itself.
but the rest - great work! I really like the playlist/player combination

For lite mode, click the small button at the very right above the playlist.
For mini mode, click the flat "A" under the volume controls.
For shade mode, click the second smal button at the top right corner.

I don't know but, this skin and your Classix skin just crashes when you switch to them. None of my other skins do that but yours....(and I have quite a collection)

But my Winamp works ok when I switch between my 2 skins.
Did Winamp generate any error message?
Maybe you could redownloading them?
