Description
This is my interpretation of the basic chassis for DRN-001 Rockman (megaman to the less worldly), and most other robots of similar external appearance. It follows the basic concept of being light, compact, and highly dextrous. It's powered by a microfusion generator located just behind the "ribcage", and the central processor is (of course) in the head.

The arms and legs, instead of resembling human skeletal structure, have to be as uniformly designed as possible in order to handle the extreme strain of combat, as well as be easily replaceable. Solid-fuel tanks for the foot thrusters are located in the lower legs. Because the robots generally don't have control surfaces for controlled flight, the feet are specifically shaped to act as directional thrust nozzles, resulting in the bootlike appearance of the legs. The arms are essentially modular, but the DRN-001 model uses a special design that can adapt its power and fire-control systems to mimic the weapons of defeated master-type robots.
