Description
After a year long search for her, she has been found.Ice cream please.
Only realised that I had it after I got home.
I was photographing the Thunderbird.
First trip to London Euston this year (hoping to get, 57307 "lady penelope") and I get 57308 "Tin Tin"
Would have been nice to get them both in the same shot.

Great find, congratulations! So thatβs what they look like in their natural habitat.
As I said, the ice cream will be available the next time we meet in real life. Any suggestions for time and place?

Hi there Colin.
I was waiting for a friend at Taunton station this past Saturday morning (5th June 2010) and saw Tin Tin in a bay platform at the end of five? old carriages. At the front of the train was another loco of the same class John Tracy.
Best wishes,
David

First Great Western use Class 57s from their own fleet, some Arriva ones and Virgin Thunderbirds to cover for any unavailability, on their loco hauled services between Taunton and Cardiff. You'd have seen it on a rake of Mk2 coaches most probably.

Hi David
Their are quite a few movements like this on a Saturday, mostly running between England and Wales up and down the border.
Regards
Colin
