Thank you for this wonderful application.  I have tried it tonight and it works very well, but my choice is to have it work using the mouse scroll wheel when the cursor is against the edge of the screen, and I can't seem to figure out how to set that.  The setting for 'Rotating a mouse wheel over...' does not give the option of screen border, only 'taskbar', 'tray', desktop', and some others.  Am I missing something?

Hi,
is it possible to bind a second mouse scroll to change the volume? I want one mouse to be used as standard mouse and on the second only by turning its wheel to change the volume.

I'm looking for something that will change the EQ preset on a per-app basis. When I play Counter-Strike, I want it to detect Counter-Strike is the foreground app and automatically set the Sound->Speakers Properties->Enhancements->Equalizer preset to my CS preset. When I play QuakeLive, I want it to set the EQ preset to QL. Can you make this app do this or recommend an app that does that?

I am going to have to give up on Volume2.   In addition to the inconsistency with IE now it won't work on my dual monitor system.  i have one monitor vertical and one horizontal.   V2 thinks that the top half of my vertical screen is at the screen edge.  So if my mouse is in the lower half of the screen the wheel will scroll up or down the page.  But if the mouse is at the top half of the screen the wheel changes the volume.   I have been using volume2 for perhaps a few years and really love the screen edge feature but in the past 4-6 months I've had nothing but problems.

have been monitoring this for a almost two weeks.  During that time I have booted my system (some warm, but mostly cold boot) 18 times. Of those 18 times Volume2 has worked correctly only 4 times.  There was nothing different about the bootup or programs used after each boot.   But 90% of the time it doesn't work correctly.  I even rolled back to V2 version 1.1.2 and had the same problem.   

Again, the problem is that if Internet Explorer is the active window then Volume2 either turns up the volume to maximum or turns it to 0.  on or off.  nothing in between.   I have an HP Envy with an Intel i7-4770, igb RAM, 64 bit Win7 Pro,  Internet Explorer version 11.  All Microsoft updates are current.

brand new HP Envy.  Intel i7-4770 quad core.  8gb ram,  Win 7 pro, SP1.   This morning I booted up and it's working fine.  @#$$%#$%.    from here on out, I will pay closer attention and check it each time I boot up taking notes each time.

The problem has reappeared.   Don't know why.   Yesterday it was working correctly,  but this morning I booted up and it's back to the way it was...  IF IE (v11) is the active window Volume2 either turns the volume all the way up, or mutes it.  no inbetween.   to change the volume I have to click on the desktop or another active window.   I tried disabling some other programs that I though might have a conflict using MSCONFIG but nothing made a difference.     I have no idea what's causing it.    This morning I uninstalled the beta and installed ver 1.1.2.  same issue.   What program/service could be causing a conflict?

I take it back.  after a reboot, the beta seems to have solved the problem.... but I noticed that previously I could mute the sound with my middle mouse button .  the mute no longer works.  I have tried changing the settings with no luck.

I've been using V2 for a long time.  i love this software but am having a problem.  Anytime IE11 is the active window,  the stepping simply goes from zero to full volume in one click.   if IE11 is in the background it works fine.  I don't know if this has an impact, but I am using a dual monitor setup.   the issue occurs no matter which monitor IE is in.  As long as IE is the active window, the program exhibits this behavior.

I've been using volume2 for a while without any issues but now all of the sudden it's not staying on top of any windows and I can't see it unless I minimize everything. Is there anything in the settings that would cause this?

Is there anyway to make this work ingame? When I press the volume control on my keyboard, it flashes on the screen for such a minimal time that its hard to see where its at volume wise.

Albeit this is a sound program, for me the most usefull setting is the possibility to change brightness with keyboard shortcuts instead of going through the mazy display menu, so you are my hero, many thanks! Nontheless, the other (sound) settings are pretty much the same apreciated

Thank you so much for this wonderful application,  i think it is much better and much faster than other alternative, if i may ask, it will be great if the application can allow an option to play the Volume changing sound continuously during sound changing, that would be very helpful to give an idea about the sound without having to wait till the end when the sound comes up and sometimes you can't hear it well if there is noise around, i am not sure if anyone asked for this before or if it is there already and i missed it .. but will be great if it was allowed.

When I play PES (footbal) I cannot "Volume Up" and "Volume Down". "Mute" works ok.
I use [Page Up] and [Page Down] buttons on keyboard. I have tried others buttons, it's the same.
When I play KMPlayer in fullscreen everything works ok. Can you help me please?
