Just made this one this evening. It was already getting darker in the woods, so it wasn't easy to make this one out of the hand without movements...A dead pine tree was laying on the ground, with pine cones still on the branches. And out one of the pinecones these mushrooms were growing... New Life out of a dead tree, new life out of a pinecone

I have seen really tiny, white shrooms growing from pine cones, not bigger pink ones like this. Very nice find!

It is a shame about the focus but the composure is great

The species looks like Mycena mariae (I don't think there is a common name) and are similar to Mycena parsonii [link]
I note you are asking for advanced critique? The focus could have been a bit better but even as it is it shows the structure and colour wonderfully well. Looks like you saw these at the right time. The ones I linked above had died a couple of days later

Well, here it's unusual too, at least I hadn't seen it before
Don't remember exactly how big it was. I guess the mushroom were something like 1.5 inches tall...
