Not Darksouls! The dudes enchantment looks like "Darkmoon Blade".

This looks great, especially how the everything reflects the light of their weapons.

But the weapons themselves and the chainmail look really weird.

As the fan who commissioned this, one of a collection of beautiful works that Isbjorg has created for our small player circle, I wish to say that both the swords and Nyacelil's chain shirt are wonderful artistic depictions of what we have described to her, which Isbjorg has in turn brought to life with an artistic talent that continues to leave us in wonder.

The swords and armor of both are elven, with Faelon's fitting a seasoned swordsman and soldier, while Nyacelil's sword in its elegant detail combining art and function and chainshirt in its fit and exceptionally fine mesh both well befit elven artistry and her role as a bladesinger - a revered solitary knight and conscience of the people whose exceptionally honed martial art combines sword, song and hand movement to evoke magic, and the fluid mobility of a mostly defensive fighting dance for which more bulky armor would be impractical.

From our view as the players and story creators of these characters, these details are just right, and we are grateful to Isbjorg for such care and talent in bringing the characters to visual life.

Faelon's shield, too, incidentally, is another detail we love.  Neither steel nor wood, it was instead grown for his use by a hive of Formians (intelligent ant-like beings) out of a hardened carapace material like their own body shells, by order of the hive queen after Nyacelil, Faelon, Nim Elen, and others helped the hive to survive against threats they faced.  Again, Isbjorg, thank you for capturing this so well!

Thanks so much for your support! But really, I don't care what random people say. The most important to me that you and Ryoko like it

You seems an expert in drawing armor and such. So, I want a professional advice and some examples from your own gallery.

Do you reply like that every time somebody says your drawings are not completely perfect?

My dear, I know I'm far-far from perfect!
But there is a big difference between constructive critics and "looks weird".
BTW, I'm still waiting for your professional advice and some great examples.

Thank you, Isbjorg, for this simply magnificent work.  You amaze once again!

The story for all:
Long minutes before the moment shown in "Finally found", Nyacelil and Faelon, along with Nim Elen, Nim Elen and Faelon's adopted sister Eina, and family friend known as "Silence", have just reached the sanctuary of the old and haunted fortress of the Hyshaanth family, after fighting their way through a host of tainted spirits, orcs, and ogres, along with a giant and several formidable lesser demons that filled and defended the castle.

Nyacelil and Faelon, with the three others spread to left and right across the entry end of the chamber, face the final foe, a powerful fey-ri (demon tainted elf) named Shade Hyshaanth, a distant paternal relative of Nyacelil from the part of that family that turned to the dark path of mixing elven and demon bloodlines as a way to enhance their power.  The five have found Shade near completing a dark ritual upon the altar behind him as part of a plot to attain some form of greater power, and Nyacelil has issued challenge that his scheme is foiled, leaving that plot at an unfulfilled end.

Shade is boldly defiant, however, leaving the point of final battle at hand, and while Faelon, Nim Elen, Eina and Silence prepare to fight at her side, Nyacelil begins the invocation of a bladesinger's magic, drawing upon her practiced art that combines song, hand movement, dance and wield of blade into a deceptively formidable fighting ability, with its magical energy beginning to well in glow upon her sword blade.
