DO you have EB Games Stores? What you do is spend 30 -40 dollars and get a Plug and Play Charger cord for the box.it comes with the rechargable battery and all you do it connect the battery connect the cord to the 360 then to the controller if the light turns red don't play with the controller yet wait a while for it to turn green. Then disconnect it and Viola Recharged 360 controller. and if your playing after the first charge and it starts to zonk out on you just reconnect the cords. and keep playing.

I've got a set of 15 minute recharge batteries that I can use for the controller. I just found the set this morning. I've got to get a better headset anyways - the headset I've got now not only is too small for my head, very uncomfortable, but it has broken/frayed wires that make it all static-y. >.<

well these cords allow you to play whilst they charge. After the first charge which is only about an hour
