Description
What self respecting steampunk engineer doesn't want a wrist mounted Victorian styled computer? Not me that's for sure! This project was a bit different to my others and there is no plastic or cardboard involved. The whole thing is made of real leather and brass with keys from an old, broken typewriter. I started with a gutted medical wrist support and built onto it, destroying many drill bits and cutting discs in the process.
Ive had some really great feedback and learned a fair amount from this project and look forward to working on more things like this in the future.
Next I'd like to convert my old ZX spectrum, with moving buttons and some lights and sounds but that will have to wait till I come across another typewriter.

That could be fun. Seeing just how many tools and useful items you can fit into it.
