Description
So this is an update from the previous lancer i had. It's still the same gun but I decided to take off a majority of the bulk by removing the chain saw motor and going for cosmetics. I painted it black so i have a better base to work with when doing to whole body painting later on. The saw is epoxy putty'd on and the curves on top are made from DAS air drying clay, which i discovered because of xREBEL666x, so thank you xREBEL666x!its a bit bumpy and i sanded it down to as smooth as I could get it. I may either full in the gaps with more clay to smooth it or I may leave it as is. Decisions decisions.
I will be doing more detail in terms of body soon enough, including a more lancerish look, a full paint job, and sanding off the logos and such. Yes it will mean i wasted some paint but having it all black makes it easier to work with, or at least for me.
I also cut the trigger so it looks like, well a trigger, like what i did for my nitefinder mauser trigger.
Anyways I will work more on it and post as I go.
Comments, rants, etc?

I've actually seen another instance of making a Lancer replica from a Nerf gun, I guess it's a popular thing to do.
Never played Gears of War though, I got a used copy at Gamestop but it was in horrible condition, and my Xbox wouldn't even read it! I think I'm gonna order a copy of the game online instead! Gamestop is apparently infamous for badly-handling their games. I know I got a copy of Metal Gear Solid 2 a year before, and it skipped and was unplayable at the start of the 2nd half of the game. What a ripoff! Luckily I now have the MGS Essential Collection, and I've beaten the game.

Not all gamestops are terrible.
I love my local one. I'm friends with everyone there and what not. But yeah I have had a few terrible experiences at gamestops that I now don't go to.
And yeah I need to get back to working on this but I'm working on a project for a friend so that has to come before my personal projects.

The one in my town sucks, that's where I got the used copy of Gears of War that didn't even run.
I really wanna play the series though, because I identify with Marcus Fenix...he shouts, he yells, he's hotheaded just like me. I feel inadequate next to super-coolheaded heroes like Master Chief (though Halo is one of my alltime favorite game series,) and I hated myself for my hot temper, but at least there's a fictional character who's hotheaded like me!
I got my used copy of MGS2 at another crappy gamestop in San Francisco, though I also got Star Wars Rogue Leader from there and that ran just fine. I guess it's all just a mixed bag!

Yeah once you find one that works your set for life but its the search that kills you. And I can see how forming relationships and identities with characters will make one want to play certain games. I do the same things with both video games and animes. I will either find characters that fit me or fit my main OC, Issac.

Indeed it does! I love identifying with fictional characters. And you have a main OC too? What's he like?

ah so he's a half-angel half-demon halfbreed? That's pretty fascinating, especially the part about having one angelic eye and one demonic eye. Almost reminds me of my own character Zero who wears armor that's covered in red hot fire on the left side and blue icy fire on the right side. His blue side features a huge impaling spike on his hand, while he wields a huge scythe on his red side. He's an artificially-created, demonic life form who survives by eating souls. However he isn't necessarily evil, as he only eats the souls of very, very bad people, and after awhile of being "digested" all the sins that person has committed fade away and their soul turns into pure bright light, which Zero then vomits up. It hurts him to do that because light hurts him. I am thinking of suggesting this character to my friend, who is making a browser-based fighting game in HTML5, and I think Zero would be an excellent hidden boss/playable character!

His eyes are only that way during specific forms. His eyes are standardly red, and change depending on what form he is in, similar to Sora's different costumes depending on which form you use in KH2. And you have to remember Issac is also human, or else his existence is impossible. His weapon (I forget if i mentioned this in the bio) is either going to be one of two things. Either it will be the original Muramasa by itself, or a forged blade created from the blades of both Muramasa and Masamune. I may go with the second idea. Just it has to be a katana with some demonic/non normal affiliation to it.
And your character seems pretty awesome. Though I'm trying to imagine him in a game and just dear god I think my only chance of beating him would be to upload Issac into the game. XD

The game (if we ever finish, let alone start it) will feature my OCs Dash, Krystal and Kai. Not so sure about Zero though, he may be overpowered...but that'd make him highly sought-after as a hidden/unlockable player character!
Oh and this is Dash: [link]

Then just make him a boss, but make it hard to find him. Like if possible, include achievements in your game, and make finding him one, killing him another!
But yeah as a boss he can function like crazy hand from the super smash bros series. Hard to find and even harder to kill (sorta).

That actually sounds like a pretty good game. The game itself will actually play quite similar to Smash Bros in that it's a combat-based game with platformer gameplay. I've always found conventional fighting games to be a bit restrictive (but don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Street Fighter and Soul Calibur fan) which is why I've always loved Smash Bros.

If it ever gets up and running and you need a beta tester, I'll volunteer as long as it doesn't kill my computer. ;D

I don't see how it would ruin your computer...it's all Javascript and to be played in a web browser. I suppose it could ruin your browser (however unlikely) but you could always just close it and open it again.

Nah like my computer is slow to the point where I cant play some flash games or if I can they run at half the speed or less of the actual speed of the game. Though it becomes humorous when I beat a level of a game in fifteen minutes and the game says something like "Completion Time: 2 min 35 sec".
If Javascript isn't flash it doesn't really matter. Most of that runs slow too.

Oh wow, I don't think I've ever seen a computer do that before. Except maybe my mom's old eMac
