My interpretation of what the comic relief trio + Niju would've looked like as pups!Okay headcanon time:
Niju, after losing his mother, was taken in by Nava's pack. Nava was somewhat like a father figure to him, but Niju, still not being weaned, was given to a lactating she-wolf in the pack, this also being the mother of Nuk and Yak, two brothers. They, together with their cousin Sumac, were soon inseparable. Niju was the obvious leader of pup pack from the start, soon establishing dominance over his adoptive family.
I realize I forgot to draw Sumac without his squint, whoops.
