Been there. Iβve yelled at my parents a lot just because I couldnβt put in the effort to work for more internet accounts. But Iβve still got a little more to go until Iβm 16-17, so I guess Iβm just gonna have to hang in there with all of the restrictions I have now. I donβt even have Google anymore, but at least thereβs a Google Translate app.

Yeah, I see a LOT of this around. Kids who usually react this way are very young, either that, or they are spoiled brats, or simply need to grow the fuck up. Behaving this way is extremely disrespectful to the people who gave you a roof, clothing and other needed essentials. And like the maker of this stamp said, unless they are emotionally or physically abusing their kids badly, they should keep their bitching to themselves.

IKR? This is why I'm sure many of us are hoping that those kids are easily fascinated with having to live what is often considered to be boringly mundane run of the mill lifestyles, because I often go as far as to think that they're the best lifestyles to live in terms of morality!

my parents are very close minded, which sucks for me because I have mental health issues (they don't believe they exist)
I'm having gender identity and sexuality confusion at the moment, which they would think is total bull if I told them.
When I was younger, I was bullied because they didn't bathe or clothe me properly. My dad would get angry and threaten us, sometimes kick us out. But they were good parents in the sense, they tried their best.
I don't hold any grudges against them, I'm glad I was born where I was in the world with both parents still married.

My half sister actually has no dad (he's with us), her mom and her mom's boyfriend are emotionally/possibly physically abusive, and her only resort was to go with her boyfriend. Child services took her away because she's 14/15 (can't remember the exact age).
Now she's in a foster home.

I have a perfect reason to hate my parents (dads) I understand alot. But I think I have the right to hate the man who left me at 5 screaming out a window,who stole from my family, and left us for his mistakes. Oh, Jesus.... this, I agree with! Especially last weekend when I was crying uncontrollably because I was missing my mum while I was at university! I went home that weekend, and it was one of the best highlights of the year. Remember kids, you never now what you have until they're gone!

Well I do not respect my parents. Because they have given birth to me? That would be the only thing I have to "owe" them. Otherwise, I have to thank them only for years untreated asthma (I should not simulate my breathing problems were not so bad!) well, just focus on the positive. Honestly, i sometimes hate my mom because of certain aspects of her personality and what she did in the past, but i must remind myself that no human being is perfect.....

In the point you're absolutely right, no one is perfect.
But no matter how hard I try I can not (at least with my mother) remember a positive event. Only to my father (and surprised myself because I never really had much can not build a very close relationship with him as a child, in contrast to my brother, what could be because we are simply extremely different and he always had to work long) I can say something positves. It was like (in my job training) for his birthday (which even at his request) had Visited again last June. It was a rather cool period, until the one night we sat outside. We talked a little about normal things, and I told since I will have a job in August. He looked happy, and said, had made him even though my departure very sad he is glad that I did it but I go my own way and standing on my own two feet. After that, he has even started to cry. I really have to say that was for me a very strange situation I had never seen him cry. He gave himself to which he had made many mistakes and that he was proud of me. He mch (and this is the first time that I can remember hugging and also the first time I had the feeling that he was serious)

It's not that my parents are abusive, it's just that they can be extremely ignorant when it comes to some of my behaviors that I can't help mentally, that includes talking to myself, having speech problems, and being depressed. They think that I can just get over it since they always toss emotional needs to the side due to their busy daily lives but in reality I can't, because I'm not an adult, nor am I a small child. It hurts even more knowing that we have a huge generational gap between us.

Indeed. Parents are very difficult to respect when their nurturing seems pretty nightmarish to their kids. Speaking of which, I must be really lucky I plan on staying childfree so any kids I might end up having would feel the same way whenever I try to nurture them in a supposedly rightful manner by feeling like they're being locked in a dungeon or a torture chamber!
