Description
I have not seen many prolific artists that are as good as .Bob manages to produce beautiful fractals everytime he pushes the render button. His pieces are not only beautiful, but of the highest rendering quality.
Apophysis is, after all this time, a program which has not unveiled its hidden secrets to most users. Eversince I started using it, I realized those beautiful renderings could never be the final piece. They should be only a part of more complex multilayered collages. The same goes for other excellent programs as Chaoscope and Xenodream. They should work in a way not exactly the way UltraFractal does but the Photoshop way. Only in this program, renders coming from those excellent pieces of fractal software may reach their full potential beauty.
I had given up making collages for the last months. But as I kept looking at those beautiful renders by *gateman45 , I knew I had to try once more, so I asked for his permission to try and he gladly said "go for it"! So, here it is.
I see a hot busy shore where creatures of all kinds enjoy a holyday in an ancient time, and I mean some millions ago by ancient! The central character, Mr. Cricket, seems to lead the whole pack of happy animals. What I donΒ΄t really know is whether they are waiting to be called for a camera test for 4500 Million Years and Sheltered Undersea or if they happen to actually be the offspring of the original characters depicted on those previous scenes! lol.
All programs mentioned above are represented in this collage, mostly Apophysis, but the Xenodream renders play an important role in the whole composition. The Chaoscope rendering is there adding a subtle yet definitive touch.
I used 24 of Bob's best pieces for this collage. You might not see that many individual images in here, as some of them were used to make up the background and texures. The original size is 6667 X 5000 . After all previous experience, actual coupling of all those images took only about 3 - 4hrs. mostly because my dinousar, sorry, pc at my office is way too slow. Nevertheless, you stats lovers should take into account the enormous amout of time it took Bob to create and render these 24 pieces in order to have an accurate perception of what's it all about!
The final psd file is almost 600 Mb. I am posting a zip file with
resized images.
The original pieces by Bob that were used are as follows:
Thank Bob if you like this one!

This is wicked cool
The colors and fractals all mesh in a way as if they were all painted in this incredible abstract piece at the same time.
An amazing and very beautiful piece of work.
