Description
Jessica AlbaPencil and Dry Brush on Paper
Many people ask me why I use a brush. I have come to find that a round bristol brush will give a smoother effect when I use it to blend than using my finger or any other blending/smearing tool. It works for me, but it isn't for everyone.

maybe somebody (from Poland) told you it before, but...
do you know that Jessica on your drawing is quite similar to Anna Przybylska, actually semi-famous actress in Poland.
[link] here is her photo.
dunno, maybe it's just my imagination ^^. but i still think she's alike.

Ho could I have been so remiss? I made this a favorite and didn't leave a comment? This is a beautiful piece of WIP. I love it! I love the illusion it creates. Pieces like this are finished in their own way.

I didn't read every message so excuse me if this has been said... I think its cool that you are using a brush to get smoothness. I've been thinking about trying that for the longest time, but I've always been happy with the little stumps and my electric earaser. It works well though I take it. Looks like you got a decent result in this one. Sometime you may want to try out cotton swabs or similar tools. Stop on by and check out my stuff, I have yet to put up my realistic referenced work, but I'll be doing that soon.

i really hate how so many great artists, such as yourself draw celebrities.
although many of them are beautiful.. they are over done.
this drawing is beautifully done though, major props to you.
you should try looking through fashion magazines, i prefer W magazine.
they have gorgeous models aswell as artistic photo shoots at the end of about every issue.
just some ideas to solve your problem temporarily.
awesome work though, draw dropping.
cant wait to see it finished.
