Andy was in the locker room of the gym. Wrestling season had come to a close and it was his last night of being Assistant Coach. Jordan walked into the locker room. "Yo Swin, Coach wants ya in the office." Jordan said. Andy nodded and walked into the gym office. Franklin was sitting there. "yeah Coach?" Andy said. Franklin nodded. "Andrew, I just want to thank you for helping me and the team this season. We made the all state tournament. Without you.....well, we would have sucked." Franklin said. Andy smiled and chuckled. "thanks Coach. It was fun. Now you'll have to find a new assistant coach for next year, AND almost a new team. Half of us are graduating in a few weeks." Andys said.

Franklin nodded. "true, true. Oh yeah. Here." Franklin said. He handed Andy an envelope and a box. "what's this Coach?" Andy asked. Franklin smiled. "open it." Franklin said. Andy opened the box and envelope. Inside was a new wrestling hoodie with Coach Swinburne and Assistant Coach embroidered on it. Along with a trophy that read "All-State Champions" The envelope held a Medal that all of the team got. Andy looked at Franklin. "But Coach I didn't wrestle on the team. I don't deserve....." Andy said. Franklin held up his hand. "Andrew, you were the teams assistant coach. And without you.....well, like I said we would have sucked. Besides, if your hadn't been injured in the accident, you would've been on the mat. So.....congrats Assistant Coach Swinburne. Season's Over." Franklin said.

Andy smiled. "thanks Coach. Really. Thanks." Andy said. Franklin stood up and shook Andy's Cybernetic hand. "Now enjoy the rest of your senior year." Franklin said.
Andy walked out of the gym office and into the locker room. Jordan was sitting there. "so, what did Coach want?" Jordan said. Andy smiled. "season's over, and he gave me this." Andy said showing Jordan the trophy. It was the same as the one one the rest of the team got. Except Andy's read Assistant Coach. Jordan nodded. "sweet." Jordan said.

Andy was packing his wrestling hoodie and trophy into his gym bag. Jordan looked over at Andy. "Yo, you get a date for Prom yet?" Jordan asked Andy. " No, beside who's gonna go with me." Andy said. Jordan smacked Andy in the back of the head. "Ouch, Jerk" Andy said. Jordan shook his head. "are ya nuts. You're a Senior. Everyone likes you. And.....with you being Cybernetic, girls will be all over you. Dude, trust me. Get a date." Jordan said. "Do you have one?" Andy asked Jordan as they walked out of the locker room and down the hallway. "yeah, Kristy Carter. You know the cheerleader with the......" Jordan said but Andy interrupted him. "yeah I know who she is. How did YOU get HER to go with you? Andy said sarcastically. Jordan smiled. "well......you know. Charm, good looks. Stuff like that. Trust me Swin. Get a date. Ok." Jordan said. Andy nodded.

As they were standing at their lockers, neither Andy nor Jordan saw Mason Smith in the corner on the other side of the hallway. Mason was staring at Andy. Mason had a secret. Even before Andy became Cybernetic, he had feelings for Andy. They had gone to school together since Kindergarten so they knew each other. He didn't know how to approach Andy. And the way Andy was treated by some of the other students, Mason Smith was afraid to approach him. But before he could walk up to Andy and talk to him, he had left.

BEHIND THE SCENES: OK here goes Part:1 of a multipart storyline. A bit of a curveball here. But a rewarding one for Andy.
Shying away from the cybernetic part of Andy for this, but I promise to get back to that. With Andy making peace with what he is now, he now has to "find himself" and be WHO he is. Something he has had in the back of his mind, but since the accident has payed no attention to. Now, he must either must be who HE wants Or he can just be who everyone THINKS he is. I'll admit, this could go many ways as the ending is in my head (he graduates High School) but the road to getting there is the fun part.
