Description
After homeroom was finished Andy told Jordan he would see him at gym class. He left his homeroom and walked to the gym office to see Coach Wilson from the wrestling team. Andy walked into the office. Wilson was standing there. "ah, Andrew. Welcome back." Wilson said. Andy nodded. "Thanks Coach." Andy said. Wilson motioned for Andy to have a seat. Andy sat down. "Andrew, how are you feeling? Wilson asked. "I'm good Coach. Kemp says I'm healing nicely." Andy said. Wilson nodded. Wilson reached for a file and pulled out a form. "Andrew, I know you probably can't wrestle anymore. But I have an idea." Wilson said. Andy sat there and listened. "I wanted to offer you the Assistant Wrestling Coaching position. I want you to help me coach the team." Wilson said.
Andy sat there, not sure what to say. "But I would have to at least engage them with moves and techniques. How can I do that without hurting anyone?" Andy said. Wilson nodded, "well, Andrew. You could demo the moves on the wrestling dummies we have. But I'll have the guys sign a waiver so we're covered. What do you say Andrew?" Wilson asked. Andy still hesitated. "Come on Andrew. You know you want to do it, and besides it will look good on your transcript if you decide to go to college." Franklin said. Andy nodded. "alright Coach, I'll do it." Andy said.
Wilson stood up and shook Andy's Cybernetic hand. "Welcome aboard Andrew." Franklin said. Andy stood up. "Should I be at practice this afternoon?" Andy asked. Wilson nodded, "yes. Show the guys what you can still do. They missed you." Franklin said. Andy nodded. "thanks Coach" Andy said. Andy left the gym office and went to his first period class.

Later that afternoon before practice, Andy was standing in the locker room, looking at himself in the mirror. None of the other members of the team were there yet. He had a shirt that would fit over his cybernetic torso that matched the wrestling uniforms. Andy slipped the shirt on and then grabbed his wrestling shoes and sat down on a bench and slipped them on. They didn't fit his now slightly larger cybernetic feet.
"yo Swinburne" Jordan said as he walked into the locker room. "hey" Andy said. Jordan looked at Andy. "What are you doing? You not actually going to wrestle are you?" Jordan asked. "No, Coach made me assistant Coach to the team. I just want to look like everyone else." Andy said. Realizing his wrestling shoes didn't fit anymore, the put his normal sneakers back on. "Problems with ya shoes there big foot?" Jordan said smiling. Andy rolled his eyes. "ha ha smart ass. These feet are bigger now. So the wrestling shoes don't fit anymore." Andy said. Jordan nodded. "Come one there Coaches little Helper, lets' get out there." Jordan said. Andy slapped Jordan in the back of the head. "Oww." Jordan said.

As Andy and Jordan walked out of the locker room, some of the other team members walked in and stopped dead in their tracks. Coach Franklin had already informed the rest of the team about Andy being the new assistant. "Whoa there Coach Swin........After we heard you were going to be Assistant O'Malley here ran to the janitors room to get you something." a wrestler by the name of Mason said. "yeah Coach" another named Jones said. Mason and Jones handed Andy a can of WD40. Jordan was cracking up laughing. Andy rolled his eyes. Franklin walked out of his office and saw what was happening. "alright boys, lay off Swinburne. Andy.....Ignore them." Franklin said. Andy laughed; "Nah it's ok Coach I got this. O'Malley center of the mat please." Andy said. Tim O'Malley stepped forward sheepishly. "Yeah?" he said. Andy sprayed himself with the WD40 and then smiled at Tim. "Do I still sound squeaky?" Andy said. Tim cracked up laughing. Jordan was nearly on the mat he was laughing so hard. Franklin rolled his eyes. "alright, enough. Andy......Get them started on stretches. I have to go make a call." Franklin said. Andy nodded and told the wrestlers to start stretches.

As the wrestlers stretched, Andy demonstrated what was expected. Jordan stood there, smiling and shaking his head. Andy motioned for Jordan. "Yeah What's up Swin." Jordan said. "Just go with me on this. Get on the mat." Andy said. Jordan nodded. Tim O'Malley refereed the mock match. Franklin walked out of his office and saw Andy and Jordan on the mat. He stood there and watched. "alright, just remember.....he's a lot stronger than he looks." Franklin thought to himself.

Andy and Jordan started out slow. "alright O'Malley. Start the clock. Let's go 5 minutes." Andy said. Tim nodded and started the clock. As Andy and Jordan wrestled, the other wrestlers stopped and watched. "Jordan grab his and roll him, you got this." Mason said. Jordan was struggling to get a grip on Andy, not to mention Andy was much stronger than he used to be. "Coach I can't get him. He's a lot stronger." Jordan said. Andy whispered in Jordan's ear. "Take out my left foot silly. Concentrate on the opponent not how strong they are." Andy whispered. Jordan nodded. "alright Swin, whatever you say." Jordan whispered back.

As the timer buzzed, Jordan swept Andy's left leg and pinned him. Franklin smiled. Mason and Jones applauded. Andy stood up with out losing his breath. "Now that I what we need to see out there. Don't worry about how strong you opponent looks, or their win-lose stats. None of that matters out there. What matters is how you pin them, how you keep them pinned. Ok, split into pairs. Let's wrestle." Franklin said. Jordan slapped Andy on the back. "Nice Swin." Jordan said.
Andy smiled and actually thought this was going to work out great.

NOTES: A little bit of fun and games with Andy. He's going to be just fine re-adjusting to life. The next story will be a time jump. In the interim, Andy will get his drivers license, and turn 18. Both of which I plan to do little one off stories. But the next big part will be Andy going to his Senior Prom and High School graduation. That is where I hope to bring Andy's current story to a close. Then move him forwards to College. Hopefully this will be a fun ride.
