Description Update 10/06/11
**Sorry people, I won't be able to finish this project with the current Rainmeter. I'm not an expert in programing (I only know some HTML and CSS). I might continue if someday Rainmeter include some stuff I need. Anyone who would like to continue my project, are welcome to use my ideal and code.

You should use "splinterCell_repack" [link] it's very good (that guy know real coding), if you like my style you could modified his skin so it can look like mine(if he allow).

I'm sorry if some people experting cool stuff coming.

Created by Jackarage
Thanks to meep (on teamliquid.net) for the idea, zygat3r (on deviantart.com) Dark Wood background (I mod the background myself) and bendenfield (on deviantart) for inspiration of the code.

I noticed there is "splinter cell" [link] already on deviantart, that it is almost the same as mine, while I was uploading, I did not steal his/her ideal or code. Hope you will like mine also.

Please comment and I may accept some special request.

Thanks Oh it's not a font, I just used an online "fun text converter". The website was [link] but now it's a google chrome app. I input a string of text and it comes out in Japanese or in other funky characters xD

How to install?

Jackarage In reply to flepfilleh [2011-03-26 17:20:47 +0000 UTC]

You need the latest Rainmeter installed on your window machine and then double click the file you downloaded above. If it don't work, right click on the file, select "open with" > "chose default program" > "Rainstaller" and then follow the instruction.

After installed the skin in the Rainmeter folder, right click the Rainmeter in the Notification Area (bottom right of the screen), select configs>Jackarage>Cuted pictures frame slideshow>cpfs.ini. The skin should appear on your desktop. Right click anywhere on the skin, select "Edit Skin..." and paste the path of you picture folder after "ImageFolder=" in the [variables] section.

hope that helped you, for more information you go to [link]

Good work with the sense of wholeness. I made the splinter cell skin, actually there're several differences between your work and mine. Your method seem to be more straight-forward, using a overlapping frame to mask the picture in pieces, while I actually cut the picture in pieces so that the size parameters are auto-calculated and configurable.

Ignore the three hidden comment above, I failed to post the link.
Here you go [link]
if you have window7 you can set to "fill screen"

*why Deviantart don't allow me to edit my comments? So i don't need to comment four time to make it work.

1. yes, wider frames and the resolution from background 1280x800. 2. only the sakura tree wall in 1920x1200 or 1920x1080. in the link its to small and not widescreen. hope you understood me, my english is terrible, sorry.

I use the background to cut/hide the picture, with the current code it is impossible, but you can try picture slideshow made by other people or try "splinter cell" made by vindurriel [link] I don't know if he's/her's is more suitable for you. I may find a way to have only the frame. Hope that answer your question.
