Description
This is my entry for the book cover design contest for Susan Kay's Phantom that was being held by Llumina Press. I didn't win, but it was fun to do anyways - though thanks to all who voted for me!
This image was composed entirely in Photoshop with my tablet, and the version that I've posted here is sans text for the title and author's name. From September of 2005.

Wonderful. Totally captures Erik's dark side, but there's also a little curiosity in there as well. It's like "Who are you?", "You scare me.", and "Where did you come from?" at the same time.

Ooh, It's lovely. And the rose... There's a thing with a man and a rose that way *Has a character who has a rose hairpin* But it looks good, overall. Don't know what the cover of the book looks like right now, but if it is as people say, you deserved to win, and you should've!

It's great and I think it is much better than the one they have chosen at the design contest for Susan Kay's Phantom. I'd better like to see this one on the cover of my book at home ^^
