Well, first Brotherly Underfell Papyrus is older and Innocent Underfell Sans is younger. And the reason for his innocents is because this Underfell Papyrus stopped hurting him before it was able to mentally effect him. He developed PTSD so every beating he's gotten before Paps stopped was forgotten, he still gets scared of loud noises but BUF! Paps takes care not to make too much noise so he's a bit more mellow now. At one point they were like my versions of the Underfell Bros but before it got too bad, they changed, changing who they are now.

That kinda sounds similar to what happened to me i dont remember much but all i remember that my brother hurts me alot and after that i forgot somethings but my friends wanted me to stay 'pure' i dont understand it but i just let it flow
