Just a study of different types of eyes that I really like the look of. On the left are female eyes and on the right are male eyes.As you can probably tell, I prefer the more narrow-ish eyes over the super-large "traditional" anime eyes. The smokey look on female eyes are awesome, too, though I love the simplicity of the middle set. Guys eyes look best simple and unadorned (in my opinion), but that "lashy" look of the bottom set is kind of sexy.
These were sketched from ~Dredogol 's fantastic pieces: Anime Eyes - Female and Anime Eyes - Male ... studies of the eye-styles of various animes. I recommend checking out if you want to practice anime-style eyes, but do not want to hunt down and watch tons of animes yourself.

like it but an important thing to remember with eyes is that you should also foucus on the eye sockets, it adds so much to the final image

You did a good job with the study. One thing is you should go back and try to shade the irises. That would really make these eyes POP. My favorites that you've done would be female top and male middle. Thanks for the link I'll be checking it out.

Very good suggestion! I think I will go back and darken the irises. When I sketched these on paper with a ballpoint, I had the irises darker and it looked nice. When I did these on my tablet, I got tired and lazy.
