tribute to summer's end with J from jhack. i did promise a girl in a bathing suit this summer so here's my salute...you get --melancholy j-- i do like her expression. :3 and i like her hair..yawr for attempting to do bg. tried to stick with one color scheme yet make it a good unified piece that was balanced enough.
done in painter 8 with feedback from ~ kuroitora

Yep, her hair is really good...well, the whole pic is, but as I'm used to see always "happy" drawings about summer I must confess it was strange for me when first looking (I'm sleepy, sorry 4 my mistakes) hehe!

heh yah, i was saying to to my friend when i was nearing done and i didn't want to go back and widen the shoulders and the torso. as of late, it seems i've gotten into the habit of making my female torsos/shoulders really narrow so that the head looks kinda big. xD. so you're right in that sense. :]
