Now this was something that just kinda came out of nowhere, while I was designing the Insignia of Infernatrux, I decided to add these swords, as if they were stored there for use, and can be telepathically directed and swung around while the character has his own swords to use.

Originally, I wasn't too big of a fan of the "Summoned Swords" from Devil May Cry, where Vergil, or now Dante in DMC 5, can summon these projected swords for them to use in battle, like they'd circle around them like a saw blade, thrust themselves towards enemies like spears, block attacks, just be swung around telepathically or even follow the character's own attacks, dealing greater damage. I didn't have anything against the idea, it just didn't click into me until recently.

So here, six swords made of flames, much like the Insignia of Infernatrux, are summoned for Drake to use and command telepathically He still has his own physical swords and weapons to use, these ethereal swords just follow him around whenever he's in this form.
