Jesus Earth cannot hold the beauty of Your splendour
Father Heaven cannot contain Your majesty
I will trade the best of me
For all You are Iām falling into You
I surrender all
I surrender all I am
To the Saviour who surrendered all (for me)
Saviour gave up a crown of Heaven for a crown of thorns
Always Yours is the crown of life Iām living for
Everyday I breathe You in
The sweetness of Your love is all I need
For all You are and for
All I can become
Jesus, Iām laying down my life

Thats pretty nice..but..are you having problems with your girlfriend..or are you just worried something might happen!

No. Neither. My girlfriend and I are doing very, very well. We love each other very much.
But everything I write is always depressing. ((Except for the Christian songs I wrote or rewrote.))
Most involve betrayal or death. Either the narrator dies or kills someone in most of them. Sometimes he's betrayed.
One time he accidentally jumped off a plane without a parachute (I was bored that day.)
But I promise, I am fine. ((My parents didn't believe that, haha.))

OH..I understand..with our creations..we live another life, sometimes..Like with your writing about death and betrayal..it doesnt MEAN youre like that..its just that your stories involve things like that.
Like with my character..I put him thru HELL in some of the drawings I put him into..BUT..I wouldnt want that to happen to anyone I know..or would I enjoy seeing it happen to anyone...
Sometimes you cant help what your mind comes up with..its just the creative process!!
Im glad your doing ok!!

Thanks for caring, man.
My friends would just read it, say, "Wow, you're sick," and walk away.
But I've been betrayed a lot, so a lot of it comes from that. I don't know WHERE this one came from. An Abba song, I guess...SOS, I think. And the tune is from Mighty To Save.
The death and all, I don't know where that's from, either. It's just...there.
So I've been rewriting secular songs to have Christian themes.
((And I changed Bon Jovi's "Dead or Alive" to match the video game, "Dead or Alive."

Thats pretty cool..Ive never written a song..(NO..WAIT..I did ONE..back when I was 15..it was pretty silly..I think its WAYYYYYY in the back of my gallery..Ill have to go find it to show you)
BUt..that is cool how you can rewrite songs..Ive never had the knack..I just draw..and my mind runs stories for my character Jake Mccormick..(I'm..actually a female....I just named my DA site after Jake..its QUITE confusing sometimes..

I like rewriting songs. It's a bit harder than thinking up completely new ones. You see, when you rewrite a song, you're stuck with a certain beat, a certain tune, etc. When writing a new one, you're free.
One of my first songs was called Wingless Dove, so I went by that name for a while, or other sites. Then, after I got saved, I changed it to what it is now.
I'm actually very bad at drawing, especially in school. I prefer to write little stories about my characters (especially Xor) and just draw maybe a picture of each one. That way I don't have to try to describe them. I could describe a lot of my characters to you and you might still have no idea what they look like.
So I never do comics, and I hate art class. The teacher likes detailed drawings, and I prefer nice, simple pictures with just enough detail to tell what it is.

Yet another thing that irks me..is art teachers who ONLY want you to draw the way THEY do. I keep thinking I should become an art teacher..just so I can let kids express them selves..the way they want too..BUT..I'm a chicken..and dont like speaking in front of alot of people...(SHEESH..Im almost 40..youd think I'd be over that by now)

Easy fix: "Hello class. Today...draw whatever the heck you want. I'll grade you based on how wisely you spend the time." Then just shut up and don't talk. Problem solved, right? And everyone wins. Until the kids start throwing things.
I don't like public speaking, either, but I wish to be a minister. I'll have to fix that.

My ceramics teacher was kind of like that..she did give assignments..but..when we were done..we could do what we wanted..draw a picture...make a clay pot..it was GREAT! Even the assignments..she just wanted you to do your best..and have fun....!!
And yah...you might have to work on being afraid of public speaking..wanting to be a minister..thats kind of a MAJOR thing ministers have to deal with....I wish you luck in that...thats a GREAT thing to be!!
