Is the Jake (in-comic) sending food FOR the teacher, or is the teacher kind of taking Modest's food? Just seems a little ambiguous at the moment though I may just be slow/have missed something earlier.
Also, is that PB falling out in the third panel?

This sandwich was specifically for Ms. Booth. I had thought I had done a strip where Medusa tells Jake that her teacher took her sandwich, and Jake tells her that he made a deal with the teacher to make a sandwich for her each day, but looking back I can't find the strip. Maybe that's why all my readers think that Ms Booth is so awful?

I thought I saw something like what you're describing but I may only have read a comment where you discussed ms booth since you can't find any strips that say it.
Maybe a surprise addition to the archives is in order? Or a slightly edited version of your original idea but several days into school? And medusa just hasn't cottoned on to Jake's 'bribery' of ms booth
