Description
I hope you're all safe and healthy this week. I'm sure the advice in this comic isn't anything new for you, but since the Coronavirus was on my mind and theres not much I can really do about it, it at least felt good to make this short comic.
Β
I'm continuing to work on the script for the next Modest Medusa season, and hope to be able to start drawing it soon. Writing the comic this way (script first) has been a challenge, and everything thats happening in my life in the world has been a hell of a distraction. Thank yo all so much for your patience.

And I looked, andΒ behold a pale horse : and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Of course.Β From what I understand we're mostly supposed to avoid going out to places with other people unless we have to (getting food or medicine is a good excuse).Β

We're calling following FEMA guidelines "hoarding" now, are we?

The only part of that that's wrong is surge demand. The proper way to prepare is to buy one month's worth of supplies every month and include that in your budget. That way, your safety margin grows over time.
You have no idea how valuable those goods will be for trade if things go the way of Bosnia .
Look up "average age of an empire". Then look up "how old is the USA".

Take care of you!
And planning is less organic way to write (I preffer avoid 'make spoilers to myself'when I write ), but sometimes is necessary to make a long journey.^^

I wanted to try a set script instead of improvising based on an outline, since I've never done that before. I'm curious if it will result in a better, worse or just different end comic.

probably different and with less dispersions (is what I found when I tried do it*), but dont be afraid in suddnetly pull out of the script if your characters or the story shows a different path
* I'm not exactly a good writer, but is my fault, not the tricks I was taught

Thats good advice.
I'm working on the ending now, but theres a few parts along the way that seem stiff to me. I'm hoping that as I draw I'll be able to improvise a bit.

I understand
And don't be afraid to change along the way, until the story goes public, plans are maps, not laws.
(there is a set of books that I liked, but I could clearly see where the author just followed the plans and didn't let the characters live)
(sorry, I speak a lot = _
