i don't now about that, they don't seem to have any trouble breathing in those energy shields, so they must be able to allow gas transfer.
he's going to get some acid burns for sure.

well thanks, but they are there, it's mainly the lighting and a few little details (plus I accidentaly deleted out a claw on the alien hand)
but overall I'm pretty happy with it, just having a winge!

Digital drawing is great, but I pretty much always do preconceptual sketches on paper before I do anything digital.
wacom bamboos are getting pretty cheap these days.
If you're looking for a 'light' approach to digital art, that's probably the way to go.

Elite wins, when it cuts it cartarizes the blood, acid rendered useless, plus elite has a plasma pistol to kill long range.

im not convinced alien blood would cauterize, and there'd probably be some hectic acidic gas floating around after a plasma sword came into contact with the alien.. it would be interesting...

I think an elite could take down Alien...at least with the Energy Sword; technically it could burn through the Alien and 'close' its wounds to prevent acid bleeding.

more to the point, the energy sword wouldn't melt!
but if we're going to get our nerd on, I'd say as it cauterizes the wound, it would vaporize the acid blood, and that could be messy, superheated highly acidic gas...
