Description
Waking up at 4am for 2 weeks straight during my trip to Newfoundland a couple of years ago was tough but when you are greeted by a sunrise like this, it makes it all worthwhile. The Dungeon Provincial Park, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.

Ah, we didn't get over to Newfoundland during our two-week trip out east in June--we didn't want to pay the $1,000 ferry cost there and back. Β I now see what we missed! Β Great shot!

Really, the ferry crossing costs that much? I don't remember it being that expensive when I looked it up but I could be wrong. Β A flight there is only $600-$800 from Toronto.
Newfoundland is definitely worth the effort and expense to visit, such a unique place.

Thanks. Β Getting a little technical here but it's most likely shallow marine siliciclastic sedimentary rock.
