Description
Seeing as there is so much talk of martial law online, I was inspired to create this.A mix of photographs and painting. All resources were free to use but I could not possibly list all the sources as it would take me too long.
I skewed the houses into perspective and created additional planes for the depth. Added fire, smoke, vehicles, soldiers/police, painted the road, lawns etc etc.

Great work, never say never, as for martial law we had to learn about the time our home county was under martial law during the Irish revolution it meant no right ofย habeas corpus, censored newspaper & telegrams, no civil courts and summary justice at the whimsy and caprice of army officers my gran lived through it and used to frighten the crap out of us. One of the officers told his men to shoot civilians

(My only concern is the helicopter - it seems too small (i.e. far away) to be in front of the billowing smoke (given the particle size of the cloud) - hope that makes sense?)

Do you draw the shadow yourself in the picture? Isn't it difficult to manipulate the single sources?

Yes, I drew the shadows. And, yes, it is tricky to get the perspective right for each element/source. It helps having photoshop though, because the vanishing point tool skews it accurately.
