I very much like this feeling of "two o'clock in the morning" in this one,
great atmosphere! May I ask what he's producing there, or is this still
top secret?

Nice. Tool are a little sparse. I think it would give it more of a workshop feeling to see more tools on the walls and all around, but all things considered, I like it!

Wow, the work with the less light is amazing! How you get this realistic structures?

thanks - it's hard doing an image with low light - i couldn't really see what I was doing sometimes, so had to keep turning the brightness up to see where i was. The realism comes from getting the perspective right and making sure the light hits the right areas. Then I paint rough marks with a grunge brush and skew them into place, over the objects which gets rid of the clean-ness.

To work with light, specially with low light, is a high art! A art for themself. Thats really difficult for me! Respect!

Yes, remember that light is everything - we only see the reflected light of an object, not the object it's self. In this picture we are seeing the light from the sources, which is bouncing off all the objects back to our eyes. The objects themselves don't omit enough radiation for us to see with our eyes. I studied all of Einstein's theories too!

Yes I know. ^^
I had to declaim a department, few weeks ago. The topic was the eye, consequently I know the physics rules. But to train to paint it, I also have to do. This isn't a project for one day. I think I will need some years. >.<

Good stuff!
Yes, every picture we create has it's own new challenges and understanding the physics is not enough.
I am struggling on a picture now, and it just doesn't look right, so I might move on and have a go at it again in a few days/weeks.

Where you get your inspiriation? I mean my biggest problems are backgrounds and backgrounds are your maintopic in the pictures. The backgroud is so detailed, that the persons are only the second view.
How you made it, that the backgrounds looks so realistic? I don't mean the objects and the details, I mean the composition. Do you know what I mean? Only the idea of a senario like this. Do you have the picture exactly in your head, before you begin?
And how long you can work at a picture, that it wont be boring? I mean, if you work weeks on a picture, isn't it hard to motivate yourself?
