how do you decide whether to do client work digitally or traditionally?

I do almost all of my commercial work digitally these days. Speed is pretty much the only factor that decides. I love painting in oils but have still not found a way to match the speed and output of digital.
I do have a few oil paintings on the go though, just for myself
