Edit 7/12/06. Have had another go at the shadow on the girl, the light rays and her hair. Much happier with this.

I've only recently got all the permissions from the stock suppliers to produce this as a DA print. I'm away for a few days but expect this to go up as one of my first ever prints by the middle of January.

There were several different stories that kept changing along the way during production on this one but I think it with some images it's best to let people make their own stories.
Is the girl you? Your child? Your mother? Is she even real or is she a ghost? What happens if the decay and insects catch up with her?

I'm speechless. I love this. The colours are so fresh and the girl so angelic. It's perfect. How did you manage to get those colours? I'd love to know. A definite

Uuummm (*thinks back, scratches head*) ...actually apart from the darker green around the foreground walls I've not fidgeted the colour much. I matched the girl and other layers to the colouring of the background using Image, Adjustments, Match colour and fidgeting the levels there. The darker green was a composite image laid over the top that had been colour adjusted with the middle area masked out.
