This is my 5 minute MS Paint drawn answer to all the damned Hope x Lightning.

I don't have a problem with large age gaps and stuff. And I SERIOUSLY don't even have a problem with Hope, either. (I must be one of 3 people over the age of 18 that doesn't hate him) It's just the whole pairing I don't understand. But I guess people can see whatever they want to see in games/TV/ETC.

I don't know, I'm funny when it comes to Hope. I guess, to me, I really see him as an avenue to fanservice *ahem* my fangirliness *ahem* :/ I adore how he acts as a catalyst to Light's big-sister/guardian/protector side, but beyond that I don't really see much use for him. And then people start pairing him with Light: I guess I never really got over how much of an angsty, scaredy-cat kid he was in the beginning - I still view him as way too weak - as a person - for her. Relationships need to be built between equal parties or they won't work for long 
All this is my own opinion of course. People all have their own tastes

I think I agree with that, pretty much. I like how he grew as a person by the end of the game, even though he's just a kid. As you said, still not a strong enough person for Lightning. Also, she sort of helped make him what he is so far, so like... yeah. Don't see her interested in that. xD

Honestly I don't see the love in Light/Hope it's more like she was a big sister to him something he really needed after what happened in the beginning.
