Description Fang and Lightning time!

Looks like a bit of a serious moment here, I'm not sure why.

Have other things to work on, but couldn't get into it for some reason.
Did this to get the ball rolling. lol me.

Also I enjoy making Fang more... bottomy? Not interested in uber night macho flirty skankho Fang.

As always, your pose has so much movement in it. Good job on the hips. *_*

Akamar In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-22 21:22:24 +0000 UTC]

:3 I love a curvy girl, it seems. I get a lot of praise from my online friends about the figure. ^^

I need to go finish it... and that might mean to restart coloring it. I got lazy and fell into old habits, and I wanted a different shading angle, different light and dark colors, and even had a background in mind. I ended up doing my coloring book thing.

... I need to do a picture of my Bahmi warrior.. The trick is catching her character, I think. The race is naturally rather muscular, I think, so you get these somewhat brawny girls. I see my Ulda as being a rather gentle soul, even if she smashes things in the face with her shield for a living.

I babble much! How've you been, babe?

UGH Reply didnt work from my phone! NICE WORK PHONE!!

I think your online friends know how to appreciate good anatomy. Your anatomy just so happens to be fantastic and is therefore easier for us to love.

Lol I do the same thing all the time. -_- ALL LOOK SAME! NO BACKGROUND! HAHAHAHA!! sadface.

Warrior girl?? My interest is piqued. I like a little muscle on my ladies. Makes them look more capable and tough.
Sometimes, I wonder if I overdo it with the muscle definition when I draw females, but then I think... fuck that. My girls don't sit around the house making sandwiches and watching soaps all day. They kill shit. They SHOULD have muscle definition!

Akamar In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-23 15:54:06 +0000 UTC]

I love muscle definition. I'm not fond of the girls built up so much that they have muscles on top of muscles.. but I don't like guys like that either. But, I have no complaints about girls that look like they could break you without too much of a sweat. ;3

And yes, warrior girl ;3 My present main on Rift is a warrior. I'm in love with her because she looks like she really DID grow up swinging weapons and shields. But still looks female, too. ;3 I should take a screen cap. I actually have a handful of game comics I want to do, but probably never will.

But, I should probably start looking for reference for the picture I want to do, of her sitting in the grass with her fighting cat. Probably a picture of her faction city, Meridian, behind her.

Anyway, here is Ulda. :3 nevermind the colors. I got impaitent and used dyes, and typical to form in this game, got a new host of quests that started replacing it all. I've also hidden her helm, ad it's a simple, medieval looking thing, and nowhere near as cool as the horned thing she had before.

Yeah, same same. I'm not interested in hormone filled body builder type women.
That just puts me off my food. lol

Lol mmm never ending inspiration pool that ultimately goes nowhere. <3 I hate that. -_- Having ideas and no time or motivation to complete them. Story of my life!

That looks pretty cool!!

i dont even know where to begin with the pairing name.
There's too many options and none of them sound convincing. xD

lol I get you there. XP Oh! BTW, do you have a place you store your old stuff?? I kinda miss your works on ShizNat.

And I I haven't played FFX13 yet, but have wanted to. XD When I finally found a collectors editon to buy, it turned out to be a Region 2 game that can't be played on american consoles. XD I had a fit with that one... TT_TT

Jango-Joe In reply to Rumiel [2011-03-22 08:22:52 +0000 UTC]

Ah, shiznat. lol The bane of my existence now. xD I don't really have a place where it's all stored. Maybe on my LJ? But it's probably not well organised or easy to fish through.
I can't stand the thought of what that old art actually looks like now. -_-

ooo Poor Xbox. I didn't even think of that. Kinda glad I've got a ps3 now, since I tend to import a lot of games to Australia. -_- they're so expensive here.

Hey, improvement is always good, but for the fans, sometimes the old stuff and what sort of feeling the picture invokes is a priceless feeling. Don't be so quick to write them off. *pokes*

LOL It's a Region 2 PS3 CE FF13. T_T

Jango-Joe In reply to Rumiel [2011-03-22 09:58:03 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I know. I'm just really difficult and hard on myself about art. -_-

Should work if you have a PS3 then D: I've been playing a Japanese version of FFXIII with no problems on my system. Plus countless NA and UK games. D:

Rumiel In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-24 06:25:15 +0000 UTC]

LOL XD I don't have a PS3 unfortunately... I'd like to get one for my birthday, but no one can afford such a thing so I'm just SOL this year... I don't even think it's gonna get celebrated even. Not that that's anything new... *tilts head*

Well, as they say, "You're your own worst critic." And it holds far too true in many aspects, ESPECIALLY artistically, no matter what form.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Jango-Joe In reply to Rumiel [2011-03-24 11:54:29 +0000 UTC]

Aww that sucks. Sorry to hear of the lack of celebrating.

Yeah, an artist loves to hate their art. xD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rumiel In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-24 19:08:37 +0000 UTC]

lol The lack of celebrating is normal. Been like that since I was a child. And it's due to tax season, which ends on April 15th, and my birthday is on the 10th.

lol I have plenty of pieces I've done that bug the shit outta me. XD One is the recent image of Slimer I did as a commission.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Jango-Joe In reply to Rumiel [2011-03-24 21:56:23 +0000 UTC]

Ah, I hear ya. Never been much for celebrating, myself.

Ugh don't even get me started on commissions.
I'd take all of them back and fix them if i could. -_-

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rumiel In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-24 22:24:23 +0000 UTC]

lol Well, it's not that I'm not into celebrating, though that is part of it, but a little recognition wouldn't hurt. I don't even really get that from my own family. Considering my background, my family never really cared much, I mean being thrown out at the age of 6 to fend for myself on the streets, and later in life being put on a restraining order, despite not doing a thing, it happens.

LOL Well, look at how horrible my slimer is. =_= It's shit, though it's also the first thing I've drawn in 7 years... *tilts head* So of course it wouldn't be anything like my old works back then...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Jango-Joe In reply to Rumiel [2011-03-24 22:38:33 +0000 UTC]

That's so harsh for a little kid. Sorry you had to deal with that.

Omg 7 years without drawing.
If I went without it for that long, I don't think I'd ever even start up again. lol
Kudos to you for having the balls to do it. xD

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rumiel In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-24 22:48:19 +0000 UTC]

lol My life was full of stuff like that, abuse, rape, neglect, being on the streets, reduced to eating cat and dog food, then suddenly thrown into foster care, which made my life even worse. *tilts head* It's just something I see as normal, so I hardly think much of it. I'd never pass that onto the next generation, as I know what it's like to suffer and never get any help and always be alone, but for me, being raised that way, I hardly think much of it anymore... It's like "Oh, yea, that happened, people say it's bad, I just shurg it off. O_O"

*chuckles* Yea... I stopped drawing with my ex-gf/1st & only best friend broke up with me the way she did and my dad died a few months later... I hit the deepest pit of my life back then... I just no longer had the motivation or inspiration to draw anymore...

I've kinda wanted to TRY getting back into it more because I can't find anyone to help me make my story into a comic. I want to make my trilogy not just a novel version, but a comic/manga version too.

Jango-Joe In reply to Rumiel [2011-03-25 08:59:10 +0000 UTC]

Aww, jeez. Not dealt a very fun hand of cards.
Good on you for getting back into the swing of things, though. Takes a strong personality to manage that.

Try to keep on the drawing. Eventually, it'll get fun. (I'm still waiting for that, myself )It's nice to get a sense of accomplishment when you're done, though.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rumiel In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-25 18:35:15 +0000 UTC]

Well, I always had the goal to be better than anyone in my family ever could be. They always made me angry and somehow I just kept seeing them as inferior to me. *tilts head* Probably the wrong way to look at it, but it's pretty much the only reason I've kept my sanity. And now it's knowing that there's others out there that suffer and wanting to help (which is why I'm joining the Red Cross for Disaster Relief.) I know what it's like to suffer and not be helped, so I hate seeing others suffer and no one doing anything. It just peeves the shit out of me to no end...

lol I'm doing my best while learning this new program. =_= Hurts my eyes after a while and I gotta break out the glasses... LOL I felt that small sense of accomplishment with the Slimer commission.. As lame as it looks, it's still the first one after a 7 year break, had to cut myself some slack and just relish in the fact I did something. XP

Jango-Joe In reply to Rumiel [2011-03-25 23:30:00 +0000 UTC]

Well, I say that's pretty damn good motivation in my books.
Doesn't matter what motivates you, as long as it works, right?

ooo Which program D:

Rumiel In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-25 23:37:19 +0000 UTC]

lol True true, good point. XP As long as I'm not hurting anyone or breaking the law.

Adobe Photoshop CS5. =_=; I think I need glasses... My eyes hurt.

Jango-Joe In reply to Rumiel [2011-03-26 00:41:00 +0000 UTC]

Ooooooooo CS5!! That's so fancy.
I've only just started using CS3 recently lol me. Photoshop is a pretty tough program to wade through on your own. -_-

Rumiel In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-26 01:21:48 +0000 UTC]

Haha, yea, you're telling me. Though I have enough figured out to do small things... And without a tablet, I can't really fully utilize the program anyway. =_= Was hoping to land one for my birthday next month, but I doubt I will.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Jango-Joe In reply to Rumiel [2011-03-26 06:36:12 +0000 UTC]

You should do commissions to earn money for the tablet.
That's what I do when I want things. Lol me.
Wacom Bamboo is pretty affordable and actually a really cool tablet.
I've tried out all of the new line at a convention semi-recently and was SUPER tempted by a Bamboo, myself.
That is, until I tried the Intuos. XD

Rumiel In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-28 07:13:41 +0000 UTC]

Jango-Joe In reply to Rumiel [2011-03-28 07:52:17 +0000 UTC]

Well, that's up to the customer, really.
I didn't think anyone would want my stuff either, but there's really a market for anything.
Just do like $5 sketches, people will come running if you pimp yourself out enough.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Rumiel In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-28 08:13:14 +0000 UTC]

HOT!! And to me, Fang is anything but macho. Flirty yes. But a total kitten as far as I'm concerned. If you just look at her with Vanille, she's at the girl's every beck and call. Total bottom!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Jango-Joe In reply to gardenofeden [2011-03-23 04:37:30 +0000 UTC]

Yeah seriously. Her and Lightning are basically the same person. Difference being, Fang probably had friends growing up, Lightning was probably too emo and had no friends
Thus, Fang never shuts the fuck up and I want to put her in a blender, and Lightning is blissfully quiet and tactful. <3

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

gardenofeden In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-23 14:49:53 +0000 UTC]

Well you can put Fang in a blender so long as I can have her after. That accent!! *melts*

Jango-Joe In reply to gardenofeden [2011-03-23 22:16:19 +0000 UTC]

Gotta say, I love an aussie accent. I'm just so used to them now that I barely noticed her fake one. xD

Lol you can definitely have Blender Fang. <3

gardenofeden In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-24 01:27:24 +0000 UTC]

That's right! It is fake. I was so heartbroken to find that out Oh well. Maybe there's a hot Vanille or Lightning-esque aussie chick in my future!

MMmm Blender Fang. Part of a complete breakfast.

Jango-Joe In reply to gardenofeden [2011-03-24 01:38:50 +0000 UTC]

I don't know, you could always hop on over here and find out.

Lol Lesbians make the best breakfast?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

gardenofeden In reply to Jango-Joe [2011-03-24 02:35:56 +0000 UTC]

I know! I should. I have a friend in Tasmania and I'd love to see her again.

I was actually just trying to thinly veil the very dirty sexual suggestion that I would 'eat' Fang for breakfast. But I'd also eat her for lunch, and dinner and midnight snack. In fact, all lesbians that look remotely like Fang or Vanille or Ziyi Zhang (first hot chick I thought of) would also qualify for said feast.

And ya know what's the most unattractive name for the FangxLight (Flight/Flare) pairing? Flang. That sounds horrible. I just made it up now and am making it known that FLANG should never be used to describe this pairing.

Jango-Joe In reply to gardenofeden [2011-03-24 04:13:06 +0000 UTC]

Ah, Lightning. Of all the FF chicks, I think I could deal with Lightning.

Also yes wtf is FLANG wtf is that pls seriously FLANG. I think I've seen that in some forum before. People were discussing potential names for the pairing and they spit out just about everything. Including "Lang" which they then ended up suggesting that I was the love child result of said pairing.

I left the forum thread immediately and have never gone back and hope I never encounter it again or I'll cry.

The end.

O_o Some FinalFantasy fans are effed up liek woah.

Let's see... I don't mind Flaire or Flight. I think we've ruled out Lang and Flang. What about Clang? Fight? Fightning? Faaron? Ling? It can get worse.

Oerbning! Faryun? D: This is deteriorating rapidly.

I did forget about Flaire, though. I think that's acceptable as well as FLight. Anything else becomes incredibly painful.
