I am not familiar with the 3-eyed lioness with springbok horns of myth--must be an original creation of yours? Would love to know more about this mythological creature! Also love your sense of balance in this piece, but then again, I've always favored a formal, near symmetrical design. Can't wait to see this one in color!

It is an original of mine as far as I'm aware. Something I dream of. The enlightened instinctual nature, a symbiosis of predator and prey I suppose.
Balance is important in a piece like this. I tend to prefer a 'natural symmetry', imperfection tends to be more interesting and look more real.
