love it and wished other apps had such a nice feature as infinite mirroring but does that mean you can't put independant objects in it that won't get mirrored

All apps that can perform raytracing can do this. So, all 3D applications can do this Geldslaw.
You'll note that the people aren't mirroed, so your answer is yes!
