For a moment I thought it was a model kit airplane... I'd love to have one of these hanging in my ceiling. ...full scale that is...

Dang, how long have they had this Zero? I don't think it was there last time I went. Love the shot though!
Also nice to see you again.

Good question, and one I do not know the answer to. It must have been here a while because my Japanese colleague was raving about it.

Thank you for the kind words!

Glad to see you alive.

The perspective adds impact to the photo, how big is the plane?Β

Thank you very much! The plane is surprisingly very small. I would say its roughly 30 feet long or so.

At first I thought this was a model plane.

Nice to know you're still alive and kickin' Jark.

Yep, a narrow depth of field tends to have that effect

Long time no see

I'm liking this image.Β  I think mostly in the shallow depth of field and color balance.Β  Was that all in camera, or did you stack different focal lengths?

πŸ‘: 1 ⏩: 1

jark In reply to electricjonny [2014-12-03 08:26:27 +0000 UTC]

Thank you very much! The depth of field was in-camera. The color balance was post-processing.Β
