DOOM 2: Hell On Earth fan script (2021) Genre: Scifi, Action, Adventure. Total Runtime 2h 48min (Rated R for strong violence and gore, strong language, body horror)

PREMISE: Over a decade after Doomguy fell into Hell, he has taken the mantle of Hellwalker a.k.a. Doom Slayer, the legendary warrior of Mars, continuing his fight against the evil forces of Hell dimension. Until his quest is abruptly interrupted when he gets yanked into HEAVEN by ANGELS. They inform him that Earth has been invaded by demon forces and only one who can help them is the Doom Slayer, because only thing they fear is HIM. Doomguy goes to Earth, only to discover his troublesome past and a interdimensional conspiracy that threatens to destroy everything he cares about. Doomguy is in for a fight of a lifetime. It is time to RAZE HELL.

MAKING OF: Phew, this was another huge project, I have to lie down after this xD. Like with every good sequel, everything gets bigger, bigger story, bigger setting, bigger stakes, bigger enemies, bigger action, and even Doomguy gets bigger xD. We move from the claustrophobic setting of the first one to wide open epic spaces of Hell On Earth. It's a mix of Doom Eternal and Doom 2: Hell On Earth. So lots of familiar stuff from those games are in this. And now we bring in the BFG which I omitted from the first one because I wanted to explore it more than have it as a forced eastern egg, so I save it for this. Yes, even the guns get bigger xD.

Doom 2 takes place roughly ten years after Mars. Doomguy has all this time been stuck in Hell and hunting demons as the reincarnated Doom Slayer, legendary Martian warrior. I gave him a partial amnesia, so those who don't remember the first one or haven't read the first one, get catched up at the same time as Doomguy. But we don't just do that, we go further than that and see the fall of Mars, what REALLY happened back then and who is this Doom Slayer. I was quite surprised how little plot were in Doom Eternal, not mentioning Doom 2 xD, let's say both plots aren't very thrilling to watch, but plot in Doom is like window dressing, you're really there for the shooting. So we continue the plot where we left off and include characters, places and monsters from the games. Do justice to the BFG.

We also introduce a new faction, called the Angels. This was alluded to in the first one. If there are demons, there must also be angels. What I really like in Eternal that you would presume that Angels were the good guys, if demons were bad, but they are as bad or even worse xD God has left the building and doens't give a flying fuck about the Humans. That really messes up the Good and Evil set up in biblical sense xD. Really blurs the line. This time we're all DOOMED, really living up to the title. And only one we can rely on to save us is the Doomguy, in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way xD
