PREMISE: Return to the world of two realities. It has been 40 years since Neo's sacrifice which finally brought peace between humans and machines. But the truce has become fragile due to rebelling youth and machines bending the rules. Danger of another war is looming ever closer, war that could end humans and the machines. Only thing that could save them is Oracle's disciple who has discovered something that could save both realities and change the world. Fate of the world is decided by who gets to her first before timed system wide REBOOT destroys disciple's salvation for all mankind.

MAKING OF: I'm a long time fan of the Matrix, the first one blew my mind, and the sequels, well, I admit, they were disappointing at the time, but when I got older I found a newfound respect for the sequels. But oh boy, if you thought Reloaded and Revolutions were bad, wait till you see Resurrections xD. Jesus! Resurrections was the most disappointing thing I've seen since Rise of Skywalker! Made me appreciate Reloaded and Revolutions even more. I mean, damn! Neo sits on a toilet and taking a dump, Trinity's boy says "Do you wanna fuck my mom?", final fight is a "smack the patriarch" session! This is real! This is in the movie?! In a Matrix movie?! Action is badly shot, badly choreographed, and when you realize that they fight for nothing and no one dies, it gets even worse! And Keanu can still fight, we've seen him do it in the John Wick movies, so what is the excuse?! All he does is "Force Push". Everything from the title to basic filmmaking is wrong. And where did the money go? 200 million dollars? The Batman, which was awesome, cost the same and you see every cent on the screen, Resurrections looks like a cheap TV series pilot?!

I've heard theories what happened, but movie explains itself, Lana was forced to make it, and this is "fuck you" to the studio. There is evidence for that like when Bugs slides down that billboard, on the bottom was a sign that reads "For those who love to eat shit", I shit you not. And of course the mannequin hand that gives you the finger. That is as subtle as elephant in a porcelain shop xD. This could also be manifestation of Lana's frustration for doing the sequel, re-quel, a watered down Matrix. But if she didn't want to make it, then she shouldn't have made it, they should have hired someone who would've wanted to make it, someone who would've respected the source material, Lana could have been producer. Or not doing it at all.

For my fan rewrite, we have to throw almost everything in the trash and start with a clean slate. First we need to change that title, it shouldn't be called Resurrections, but called as Rebooted, Matrix Rebooted, you know, computer terminology, makes more sense. But "Reboot" is the enemy, they fight to prevent the reboot which will destroy everything we love, now that's META! Trilogy was about freeing minds, saving humanity from the Matrix, not about freeing just two minds and they can go paint rainbows in the sky, WTF?!. And this recent trend of curing death has to stop, the Matrix trilogy had a build in, perfect explanation why Neo would be back, Neo in the trilogy was the sixth Neo, so it makes sense that seventh Neo would come next time. But this time he's on the side of the machines, raising the stakes. And this will acknowledge Matrix Online, have Hong Kong cinema and Anime influence, borrowing from various mythological themes like the World egg, or the Cosmic Egg, found in Proto-Indo-European culture. Concept of Brahma "Ultimate Reality", everything is made from Brahma, all is one. Buddhism, Hinduism, Ancient Greek, and so on.

I also wanted to explore this one idea which the Matrix movies or the Animatrix didn't explore, I'm using Bugs to explore that idea, she will get a cool origin story. And all of this will be its own contained story, like the true ending to the Matrix Trilogy, you know, like in the games you have a sort of a ending and you have to play harder to get the true ending. Yes, there is room for a sequel, but if the box office earnings fail the movie, you still get a more positive ending for the Matrix. And I assure you, the ending will blow your frikking minds xD.
