is it like how as children we played indians and cowboys. and were outside all the time playing, but now it seems more like now that technology has built up and we "bury" our past to make way for the future? not sure how the gas masks fit in. maybe the technology is both good and bad whereas it can pollute the mind? im not sure. but very cool

Two twins that are alike (the gas mask, and dress) but one is a gentle twin, and the other is an evil twin.

Is it about two girls attached by a gas mask -- one holding a gun and the other a feather? I don't know -- sometimes people tell me I'm too literal...

Seriously, great piece. Even my kids paused what they were doing when they saw this and tried to figure it out (I think even they thought I was being too unimaginative) -- a sure hallmark of good art!

I'm afraid I can never interpret pictures so filled with meaning like this one but it's stunning. I love that the skies in your paintings are so vast compared to the ground and I love all the blue in this. It seems both figures are slightly pregnant yes?
