Description
This is my first entry for 's Fighting League, a just-for-the-fun-of-it tournament that deviantartist's original characters against each other. I colour a lot of comics as a profession but don't get to draw much so I figured it could be good practice!
This is by OC, RGB [link] up against my first allocated opponent 's chara Bounce.
Gene did an awesome job of starting this fight rolling and this piece is a direct continuation of his piece [link]

Brilliant. Just brilliant. I hang my head in respect and defeat, lol. Action, comedy, in-jokes, continuity. It's all there. What a great comic. I love the 2nd panel of course, but even more so the second to last panel where you build up to the surprise reveal of Bounce's punishment, lol. Great storytelling. And Rocket's appearance at the end is priceless. What a great finishing touch. Kudos, Jason. You really out did yourself, man. This is too awesome.

I'm sorry it took so long! I feel like I gained an unfair advantage because people got accustomed to your awesome AFL entries and my entry was something new on the very last day... -_-

LOL! Brilliant - Bounce's past has caught up with her! I ove Rocket's appearance at the end , and the background and colouring are wonderful - but mostly you've got to grips with the only way to fight Gene's pic - some brilliant fluid action shots - that one of RGB kicking with those scary boots is Gene-esque - which is just about the best compliment I have! lol!

Yeah, I wanted to do an awesome action panel to compliment Gene's amazing first pic, but as I was drawing it I thought it could be quite boring for people to look at, I mean, they've already had a great action pic from Gene, it was pointless trying to better it so I tried to go for comedy instead.
Thanks for calling it Gene-esque, I take that as a huge compliment as he is a great artist with an amazing eye for the dynamic.
Unfortunately, this took almost 3 weeks from idea to finish! O.o Gene can draw like that in his sleep!

Great to see RGB in action, I like her fighting style. A whole lot more agile than my fighter V's own. ^^ Oh, and I never realized that she had those sharp stiletto heels! ^^

It took RGB 31 days to get going but she kicked (and spanked) some butt at the end! Those heels were part of her cozzy design from the start and I intended her to use them!

This was my third or forth idea for this pic! It was originally going to be one panel, but as time went on (and I still hadn't started it!) I tried working in elements of Gene's AFL story. The rainbow-blood spank paddle had me giggling as I drew it...!
