EDIT : I've altered some of the background/abilities text so it reads better and, er, corrected some spelling errors (Photoshop needs a spellchecker... or I need to proof read more!)This is my first original character since school (that's close to 15 years ago people! lol)
I'm submitting this to *AngelCrusher 's Warm up Jam this month (and if I've got time, I'd like to also enter her into the fighting league next month!)
This is just a nice break from professional work for me, because I don't get much of an option to draw these days.
I'm quite happy with the way that the character came out at the end, and the concepts and ideas around her, she's the strong silent type, who takes no pleasure in kicking the snot out of the bad guys... but she's just so damn good at it!
NOTE : I've used the ENGLISH spelling of the word 'colour' (not 'color' ) because, well, I'm British.

I think I've created a character that can never be reproduced in a videogame create-a-fighter mode! I'm proud of that achievement although I would like to use her in Soul Calibur IV... oh well!

Yeah, I had fun designing RGB and I'm really happy with how she came out!
I created her for this fighting league thing that I decided to enter but haven't had time to draw anything for. Unfortunately, this means the only other art of RGB so far is of her getting decked.

Yeah, I watch Gene so I caught that a while back...my inbox has been kinda inundated with AFL2 stuff of all shapes and sizes actually lol.
No problem, my pleasure, she's a fantastic character, both deep in detail and very original, both things which are sometimes in short supply u_u so it's great to see such a different and unique character.
If you'd be up for an Art Trade I wouldn't mind throwing you some art of her not getting decked lol, she looks like a character I'd have a lot of fun drawing
Anyhow nice work, and give 'em hell when you do get a chance to draw some entries. You have a great art style and brilliant ideas.

I don't really have time for trades at the mo, I'm completely up to my neck in work at the mo since I've started producing pro drawn work as well as colouring!

Thanks! The character was originally inspired by Robin Hood (hence the bow) but with a superhero twist! I'm proud of the hat, I'm glad you like it! I should make them and sell them!

A lotta thought went into the backstory by gum, and you can see it seeping into her design... lookit those lovely weapons. And her I-Can-Fly bootie things.

This is a brillaint drawing - not sure how that outfit stays on - but hey - she's a super-hero, right? lol! The background and powers are a great idea - the colour energy that can be channelled through those weapon grips is a fantastic visual - and the idea that her hair bleaches out when she runs out of power.
And she's comic book colourist who bleeds colour eh? Am I reading too much into that? lol!

How does the outfit stay on? Not sure. Tape? Chewing Gum? Blu Tak (Smurf Poo)? Maybe, as I reveal more about the character, it could become her greatest secret!
Thanks for taking the time to read the bio, it's a bit ott, anal even, in detail but I hope it helps people understand her when (if) they draw her in the AFL.
I'm looking forward to illustrating how her powers work! I have the visual in my head of the weapons cutting the line-work of a character and the colour bleeding out! Her fingers, fists & feet will have a lot of colouring to do as well!
And no, it's NOT me in drag! lol! (That idea mega-scares Kat!) The background for the chara seemed kinda original to me (for a superhero) so I thought, heck, why not?

I've darkened the semi-catsuit a fraction but, overall, I'm happy with the way she looks. Her weapons emit a rainbow-coloured light, so they will look better when she's in an environment (which, hopefully, will be seen in August!)
The drawing IS blurry! The lineart is not all that tight, I drew it straight into photoshop coz I'm a bit lazy when it comes to actually drawing stuff! I think paper scares me!

This is really awesome man, what a great design. Love how you have done her hair and weapons, pure quality. I hope you make it in the AFL, even if you just manage a couple of fights. I am sure the other artists would agree that they would love to get a chance drawing this character

I hardly ever draw these days (lack of motivation!) but I was happy with how quick I managed to put this sheet together so I'll try my best to get her in a few scraps. Your AFL gave me a some inspiration to get my drawing ass in gear, after all!
It's really going to depend on how much colouring work I have to do in August, but I can't let Dreamwolf have all the fun without me!
