Android: "I feel like everypony thinks I am a monster...something that shouldn't exist....it's not my fault...why hate me for it?"
Anyone curious Android is what she appears to be.
She was a normal pony who had been caught in a freak lightning storm and had died. She had donated her body to science and they used it to try out a new A.I system they were working on. that A.I system is the Android we know today but with the memory of Gizmo (pony's real name) but she isnt and can never be her. So to former family and friends shes a monstrosity and to anyone as first glace they assume the same.
She only has one of the scientists known as Fizzy Pop and a testing unit named Portal as friends.

For the record, I'd never judge anypony for being an android, or anything like that. I'd treat her just as kindly as anyone else. Maybe even more so, because discrimination has clearly caused her to develop some self-esteem issues...

I can't speak for anypony else, but personally, I just want to be friends with you. I don't really care who or what you are, or were, or anything. You seem like a kind and intelligent pony, and that's good enough for me. But I can't be your friend if you just go and assume that I hate you. I really don't, honestly.

Sometimes I wish that one would describe setting (universe, doesn't matter, I hope you get the idea) in a lot of details before describing their OC in that setting, just to be sure that other people wouldn't sit with "what the heck I've just read"-face.

I never describe the setting because I believe it wont help me explain my OC or their actions in anyway more than I already do.
If someone is sitting here going "What did I just read" that's not my problem to be honest. I also gave up trying to explain situations a long time ago because people ignore it and most times ignore the text and just randomly start a roleplay which doesnt bother me any.
If you desire an explanation here you go: None of my OCs exist in the canon MLP universe but rather the fandom one. Where in anything can happen and anything can exist. All show characters and situations exist but they are never mentioned or interacted with unless an OC is referred to something that happened recently or in the past in conversation but that is it. Alot of make believe areas exist in my world that are outside of equestria and have strange factions (Such a Changeling run kingdoms, Kirin run kingdoms, Dragon kingdoms, etc.) so for me to try and explain where it takes place would be nonsense since no one would know what I'm talking about.

For example, Blueblood from "120 days of Blueblood" (I really hope that you know that fic, but if not... It is rather heavy contented, ye be warned, 18+) doesn't see himself as monster, but his actions are quite... monstrous.
Or Goddes from Fallout Equestria. She doesn't see herself as monster too.
So it is actually not "how you see yourself" thingie.

Ya just got to give them some time to cope and adjust. I may not be in the exact same situation but it is very similar. When I first had my netics installed everyone I knew felt the same way. Monster. Abomination. Freak. But over time most of them got used to it and realized my personality hadn't changed at all. I'm sure if you give them time they'll accept you. Even if you aren't the original! *smiles softly*

Well. You said it yourself. Your not her. So, think of it more like your very similar to each other! It happens all the time! You can be yourself and still have similar personalities! Stop thinking of yourself as "a copy of gizmo", think of yourself as "Android". You are you no matter what, and that is all that ever matters!

Everything she dislikes I don't like everything she likes I do. She exists there and will never go away and I can never do anything about it. If you go say to the other side of the world. No one knows Gizmo. So you can introduce yourself as Android and live your life there. Everyone will know Gizmo as the mare who likes and dislikes these things. And they won't even know those likes and dislikes aren't originally yours.

Android: *Sighs* This was her body...she..died suddenly and had on her file agreed to donate her body to science when she died. Those scientists made me. I am an A.I used for a new android system that imitates life. They wanted to test it before sending bits to build a unit and downloaded me to Gizmo's body. But her sudden death left her conciousness intact somehow...shes still here but...not.
