I got this sudden urge to draw a bear character (or maybe I just needed a sneaky diversion, because I haven't done Miss February yet for my calendar girl project). My monster drawing skills really showed their prowess with this sketch, because I wasn't stressed about anatomy or other fiddly bits. His head looks a bit wolfish, though. Brönnil was rather enjoyable subject to draw too, so now I want to draw more relaxed characters like him.(What is this sorcery? We can't use ä's or ö's in titles?)

When I look at those faves that this has, I really wonder what makes the bear so popular! This is just a silly sketch, so it's surprising.

I will tell you why I like it then! This bear has an expression. It looks like someone broke into his house and he's saying "what the..." He also looks like you shouldn't mess with him. He's a bear with a mission that likes to go on adventures. It's really an awesome drawing. It would be great in a comic with other characters. I think people see him as part of a story or they would like to make a story for him to be in. Could you make more?
