Description
A mermaid waiting for unlucky sailors to arrive and to be lured to their doom.That sea was quite daunting thing to shade at first, but eventually I got it right, after four tries.

Some of the details, especially the facial features, were quite difficult to draw because the drawing is so small. I could fit this piece on a A5-sized paper, and I think it means that I shall make bigger drawings from now on.

Yeah, I bet the face was trying, but it came out real well. It is also difficult to determine what to draw on what size paper. I keep switching from different sizes. It is all about experiment!

Aye, usually my drawings end up being small, no matter what's the size of the paper. I tend to feel more confident with smaller sizes if I'm drawing human anatomy. That'll change when I get more experience.

I am starting with larger paper drawing people in art class, it is kind of strange, but as I stretch farther on the paper, I think I will stretch as an artist. I think you will too. Amazing how small things can grow right?
